Hoyda, Steven
It is with profound sadness that the family of Steve Hoyda announce his passing on April 23rd 2022 at the age of 70 years.
Survived by his loving wife Deb of 42 years and children and grandchildren; Stephen (Angela) Alexandra, Easton and Livia of Whitecourt; Spencer (Janelle) Ali, Hailey, Lauren of Edmonton and Meagan of Cherhill; brothers Andrew; Ronald (Rose); Patricia Shrode (Larry), sisters-in-law Gina and Christina; and father and mother-in-law William and Margaret Johnson.
Steve was predeceased by his parents Michael in 2006; Alice in 2018; brother David in 2015 and brother-in-law William Johnson in 2020.
Steve will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, friends and community members.
The viewing to be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 7p.m. at the Rose Garden Chapel in Barrhead, AB. Parastas Memorial Service to be held, Saturday, April 30 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Cherhill Community Hall.
The family would like to thank the Cherhill Community, Cherhill Legion, and the Lac. Ste. Anne County for their support. Donations in memory of Steve can be sent to the Cherhill Legion, Cherhill Greek Catholic Church and Cemetery, or Cherhill Community Association.
