VERNIE TRAVIS HUFF

As the winds of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear,
As the poplar fluff floats on the water and the fishing hole draws near.
It is with extreme sadness that the family of Vernie Travis Huff announce his sudden passing on April 3, 2023. Travis will be remembered for his generous nature, his love of his family, his quick wit and joy of the great outdoors. He was a skilled fisherman and hunter, he would help any avid anglers and hunters both young and old.
Travis was born November 10, 1980 in Barrhead. He grew up in Florida where he loved fishing the wide, boisterous Atlantic. Travis will be missed and remembered by his wife Pauline, their children, daughters Kasey, Alyssa, Emily, Rachel and son Vernie, his mother dearest Angela Huff, his father Frank Huff, as well as his sister Patricia her two children and maternal Grandmother Doreen Nutt. He will be dearly missed by best buds, friends Bo, Amanda and family, James, Robin and their family as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
Vernie was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Patrick Nutt, Auntie Brenda Nutt, his paternal grandparents Anne & Vern Huff. As well as his faithful dog Cookie.
The family would like to thank Uncle Mike Huff for his special prayers, as well as all the thoughts of condolences extended to the family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to family, donations will be gratefully accepted to the Diabetes Association, The Stollery Hospital or charity of ones choice.
