Mary Hutniak
1935-2020
Mrs. Mary Hutniak of Sunset Beach, beloved wife of Mr. Peter Hutniak, passed away peacefully at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the age of 85 years.
Mary is survived by her spouse of 68 years Peter Hutniak, children; Stevie Ann Wardel, Laurie Coulas, and Donna (Shawn) Gustafson, grandchildren; Dylan Gustafson, Regan (Steve) Giang, Susanne (Mark) DeMattia, and great-grandchildren; Scott DeMattia, Luke DeMattia, Daniell DeMattia, as well as numerous extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to the recent Government restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather, the family will be holding a private service on Monday, May 25, 2020 at the Athabasca Ukrainian Catholic Church. The funeral service will be recorded for those who wish to join in the funeral service and uploaded to our website following the funeral service.
