Margaret (Marge) Marie Jackson passed away at the age of 86 years old in the evening of August 27, 2021.
Marge will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her sons: Robert (Lorraine) and Tom; grandchildren: Janet (Adam) Sommerfeld, Charles, David (Lany), Ali (Parker) Volden, Rachael, Tyler (Julianne), Jesse (Mariah), Maggie, Jeri and Bobby; and great grandchildren: Katerina, Amelie, William, Ava, and Benjamin. She was predeceased by: her son, Richard, parents and siblings.
Marge was born in Madison, Missouri on July 15, 1935. She moved with her family to Whitecourt in 1970 and later moved to the Goose Lake area where she homesteaded and built her home.
A caring, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Marge will be missed for her warm smile, charming Missouri accent and sense of humour. She was a one-of-a-kind lady and as someone who knew her shared, “they don’t make them like that anymore”.
Marge led a simple and humble life. Her wish was not to hold any formal ceremony at the end of her life.
