The family announces the death of Jean Barbara Cameron on March 4,

2024, at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre, with sadness because

we will miss her but with joy because she is celebrating a

glorious eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jean died in her

sleep of natural causes and in May would have celebrated her 99th year.

Born in Clyde, AB in 1925 and later would go to Eastern Canada

where she worked on the assembly line for the Curtis Helldiver

airplane for the war effort. In 1945 she married Malcolm (Mac)

Cameron settling onto the farm in the Hazel Bluff area where

she raised 4 sons. With Mac passing away in 1963, Jean

was left to raise the 4 boys alone. She would later move into

Westlock and worked at the A&M store, Lazzer’s Hardware,

and the Westlock Nursing Home until her retirement.

Jean leaves to bear her loss and celebrate her life, four sons;

as well as grandchildren; Brad (Monique), Carey Ann, Kim

Alyssa, great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn (Dellon), Kyle (Brigitte),

Cole, Dylan, Makayla, Leah, Isobel, Kenzie, Levi, Kaelin,

Rylan, Ethan, Grace, Micah, Jonah, Sarah, Omar, Sophia, and

brother-in-law Art Lyons, brother Cleve Breadner and

sister-in-lawThelda Breadner and great-granddaughter Hannah.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to the Awana Club at the

Westlock Gospel Chapel would be greatly appreciated.
