It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Michael Jimmo, who left this world on October 14, 2023, at the age of 69.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Suzan, and his children; Michelle (Jonathon) and Michael (Lindsey). James (aka Papa) was a doting grandfather to Andrew, Miss Emiley, Mathew, Michael, and Genevieve.
He was a beloved son of Jean Davidson and the late Louis Jimmo, stepson of Morris Davidson, a cherished brother to John, Luanne, Tim, Terry, and Douglas, and a dear Uncle Jim to many nieces and nephews.
James dedicated a significant portion of his life to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and served with unwavering pride and commitment until his well-earned retirement in 2014.
Throughout his life, James touched the hearts of many with his kindness, love, and dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and enduring love. His memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
A celebration of James’s life was held at Westlawn Funeral Home on October 23, 2023 at 10:00 am followed by the Interment at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Canadian Cancer Society - Lung Cancer Research in his honor.
