Rolf Edgar Jorgenson
We’re devastated and saddened to announce the death of Rolf Edgar Jorgenson on Dec 18, 2021 at the age of 91. He has meant the world to us and his passing leaves a big empty hole in our hearts. While this is difficult, we know he’s in a better place. Hold your loved ones even tighter today for us……
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Cynthia (Dale Obrigewitch), his Grandchildren Chantelle Facette (Haden Wells), Tyler Obrigewitch, Skye Obrigewitch (CJ Kellogg), Great-Grandchildren Ashtin, Ella, Charli, Rylee and his sister Betty Gaunt.
He will also be missed by extended family and friends.
Rolf was predeceased by his father Bert, mother Borghild, wife Ella Jane, son Richard, sister Arline, sister Amy and brother Harvey.
Rolf was born in Granum, Alberta and shortly thereafter the family moved up to the Barrhead area, settling at Camp Creek. He loved farming (taking over the family farm from his parents), fishing, hunting and playing cards. To supplement the farm Rolf ran Cats for many years, owning his own Cat right up until he was 89 years old. Rolf also enjoyed tinkering in his shop and fabricated many useful items over the years to make everyday farm chores easier.Travel was also important to Rolf and he spent many years basking in the Mexico sunshine.
The family would like to thank Dr.Tawfik and a special thanks to all the staff at the Keir Continuing Care Centre.
