John Kikernik
1941 – 2023
It is with great sadness that on February 5, 2023 we unwillingly said goodbye to John, dad, poppa and grandpa.
John is survived by his wife Sylvia; his son Warren; his daughter Jodi (Travis); his grandson Jayden (Rebecca); his sister Mary (Bill); his brother Ken (Rita) and their families.
John worked in the oilfield for over 40 years, which took him to several states, states, off shore to Greece, Greece, Russia, and Siberia. Sylvia and Jodi were often part often part of these grand adventures.
In his spare time, John farmed in the Jarvie area where he was raised. He kept coming back to Jarvie every year during the summer with his family for bonfires, stories and good food – overall time well spent with his loved ones.
Though John is gone, it is not goodbye, but simply a see you later. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
