KLAN, Arda Yvonne (nee Thompson)
It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Arda Klan on November 18, 2022 at the age of 86. Arda was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband Leo Klan, daughters Lana (Glen) Haltiner and Joanne (Ken) Molzan and son Dean (Karen) King. She was a grandmother to Brad (Melinda) Bentz, Michael (Alicia) Bentz, Evan (Sandra) Haltiner, Jaron (Landy) Haltiner, Lynelle (Cody) Molzan, Randy Molzan, Tristina (Greg) Schultz, Kasandra (Kent) Kawa and Scott King. Arda was a proud great-grandmother to Hunter and Cole Bentz, Mason and McKinley Bentz, Owen and Eli Haltiner, Brody and Claire Haltiner, Amelia Schultz, Kaleb, Kai and Kenzie Kawa and Olivia and April Summerfeld. Arda is also survived by her brother Dennis Thompson and dear friend Jean Smith as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Arda was predeceased by her 1st husband Robert King, daughters Judy Bentz and Val King, son Stephen King and sister Lorayne Rachul.
At Arda’s request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barrhead Legion or the Barrhead Healthcare Centre.
