It is with great sadness that
the family of Walter Kochan
announce his passing at the age
of 86. Walter was born in Radway,
Alberta on September 2nd, 1936
to Bill & Annie Kochan.
Left to cherish his memory and celebrate his life are his
beloved wife of 62 years, Elsie, his children Elaine (Sal),
Shane (Tina), Clinton (Desiree), his adored grandchildren
Justin (predeceased) Brandice, Brandin (Jillian), Cody
(Amber), Austyn (Krysta) and Ayda (Dallas); two great
grandchildren Dylayne and Cohen; two sisters Nancy
(Lou), Diane (Brian) as well as numerous relatives and
friends.
Walter loved his family more than life itself. He would do
anything for them and loved unconditionally. He was a
quiet, genuine, proud man and to be part of his life was
one of our greatest gifts.
He ran a successful construction company, was a talented
woodworker and for many years raised Simmental cattle.
Walter took great pride in any work he did and had high
standards for his work. He always said, “If you want
something done right, do it yourself.”
The family would like to thank Dr. Raubenheimer and staff
at Radway Continuing Care for their compassionate care
during his time there.
Cremation has taken place. No service will be held per
Walter’s wishes.
