Farron Lachance
February 12th, 1957 to March 12th, 2022
Farron is at peace at last. He sustained a brain injury at work in November 1987 and lived for 35 years needing full time care. Farron’s challenges during this time were great but he always kept his sense of humour.
Farron was predeceased by his wife Barbara, his son Freddy, his parents Fred and Margaret and his brother and sister-in-law Joe and Anita. Farron is survived by his son Tyler(Karen) and grandchildren Brandt and Ellie.
He is survived by his brother Alan Lachance (Diane), sisters Marilyn Rolingher (Sol), Carmen Witney (Marty), Shelly Hutton (Andy) and Chere Lutz (Blair) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A very special thanks to all his caregivers over the years and especially to Madonna Sales who cared for him for 15 years and Lisa Ansit who cared for him for 7 years. A further thank you to Sharon Hartwell, his caseworker at WCB. Also, the staff at Rosedale Assisted Living deserve to be recognized for their compassionate care, especially Dr.Sidhu and nurse Brandi Maltby.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 pm on Friday, March 25th at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, Alberta. Reception to follow.
