Our beloved Dad and Grandpa, Robert (Bob) Lee, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, surrounded by his family. Bob was born on April 8, 1936 in Mellowdale.
Bob is survived by his children, Tim (Jill), Anne Girard (Byron Cross), and Jeff (Annette); by his grand-children, James Lee, David Lee, Miranda (Lance) Harris, Mathew Girard, Aaron Lee (Julia Falcone), Jordan Lee (Sienna Clark) and Jared Lee (Breanna Odland); great-grandchildren, Sydney Harris and Bennett Lee; special grand-children, Greg (Kim) Girard, Kristi Girard, Hunter, Cadence, Liam and Emma; sister, Ruby (Wilf) Dyer and brother, Bill (Carol) Lee; brother-in-law Gilbert Schmidt and brother-in-law, Arnie (Dana) Mantei; and many special nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Predeceased by his wife of almost 60 years, Gertrude Lee; parents, Lloyd and Ethel Lee; parents-in-law Alex and Olga Mantei; son-in-law Darrell Girard; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Leonard Schmidt and sister-in-law, Elsie Schmidt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
A private internment will be held prior to the service. Donations can be made to the Barrhead Healthcare Center, Barrhead Art Club or Barrhead United Church.
The Lee family would like to thank the medical team at the Barrhead Hospital for the care shown to Bob and his family.
