September 22, 1927 - April 7, 2021
George Loitz, the youngest
child of August and Katharina
Loitz, passed away peacefully
April 7, 2021 in Camrose,
Alberta at the age of 93. He
leaves to mourn his loss, one
brother Walter Loitz (Elsie) of
Gibsons, BC, as well as many
nephews and nieces.
George worked many years in
the lumber industry during winter
months and found great
joy working on his farm in the Rich Valley area during the
summers growing abundant gardens and caring for animals,
with pets alongside.
George is predeceased by 4 sisters, Mary, Minnie, Annie
and Lillian and 6 brothers, Henry, John, Fred, Charlie,
William and August.
The family would like to express many thanks to the staff at
the Rosehaven Care Centre in Camrose for the care George
received over the last 12 years.
A private service will be held in Barrhead, Alberta.
Donations in George’s memory can be made to a charity of
one’s choice.
