McBRIDE, WILLIAM TERRY
May 24, 1945 - October 15, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Terry McBride announce his passing in Smithers, BC on October 15, 2020. Terry was the second chosen child of Bill and Ruby McBride. He lived in the Mystery Lake area until his family moved to Barrhead where he attended school. Terry’s passion was trucking and from highway hauls to logging roads he did it all. He was a very compassionate husband, father, and grandfather and loved his family above all. Terry loved family gatherings and coffee with his friends at the local coffee shop. He opened his home to many and his dinner table always had an extra place setting.
Terry is survived by his wife Rita; daughter Theresa and sons, Clint, Tyler, adopted daughters, Tynisha and Tearra; stepchildren, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, his sister Nora Bredo, two nieces and their children, other relatives, and many friends.
Terry was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Ruby, and one granddaughter. Memorial service was held October 31, 2020 in Talkwa, BC.
