Gary Meredith
1964-2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary William Meredith announces his passing on May 30, 2021. Gary was a man who was truly loved by all who were fortunate enough to have known him and will be greatly missed.
Gary was born on November 6th, 1964 in Edmonton. He lived in the city but always had ties to the Athabasca area, where he permanently came to reside in 2004. The youngest of 9 siblings, Gary is survived by one brother and four sisters as well as a well over 100 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Blue Heron and Gary’s many friends there for all the love and support they have provided over the years, as well as staff at Athabasca Extendicare where Gary resided for the past year and a half.
Family is planning a Celebration of Gary’s life at a later date. In tribute to Gary, donations to the Joey Moss Memorial Fund/Mindful Hearts Program would be most welcomed.
