OKO, LEON WILFRED
It is with immense sorrow that the family of Leon Wilfred Oko announce his passing. Leon lost his battle with cancer on September 29, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Leon was born November 4, 1944 to Frank and Doris Oko of Tawatinaw, AB. Frank and Doris farmed in the Tawatinaw Valley where they raised 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls, Leon was the third oldest.
He is survived by his wife Sandra, 3 children Jennifer (Danny), Tracy (Tyler), Brett (Jessica), and 4 grandchildren. Siblings Douglas, Gloria Fagnan (Clem), Raymond (Jolanda), Donald, Richard (Sharon), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Leon is now reunited with his parents Frank and Doris, brother David (Veronica), sister Marilyn (David), sister-in-law Debbie Morrison, and nephew Terry Oko.
On October 21, 2023 at 2 PM the family invites you to join them and celebrate Leon at the Tawatinaw Hall over a cup of coffee.
