OSZUST, Douglas
May 4th, 1938 - January 24, 2021
We are sad to announce the death of Douglas Oszust, having passed away January 24th.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Joyce Oszust; his children Rodney Oszust, Derrick Oszust, and Melanie Drake; his stepchildren Lana Zilli, Lance Craig, Colin Craig, and Carla Craig; and numerous grandchildren.
Douglas was born May 4th, 1938 in Laverna Saskatchewan, to Mary and Mike Fesick. He moved to the Barrhead area in the 1960’s and was proud to have been one of the original drillers on the Judy Creek site in Swan Hills. After leaving the oil and gas industry, he worked at Stephani Motors for 32 years while operating a mixed cattle and grain farm until his retirement in the town of Barrhead. Some of the best times he and his family had together were on the farm - where his spirit was most free.
In accordance with his final wishes, A Memorial Service will be held on May 4th, 2021.
