PELLETIER, OLLENE RHODA
January 11, 1933 - July 29, 2020
Ollene Rhoda Pelletier (nee Mellott) passed away July 29 at the age of 87 years.
Ollene is survived by her children; Michelle, Carol, Richard (Cindy), Maurice (Olga), Deborah, and Lynda.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, son Denis, sister Geneva, and brother Stanley.
Ollene was born in Athabasca on January 11, 1933, to Jerry and Marian Mellott. She met and married Raymond Pelletier and they made their home in Morinville for 35 years where they raised seven children. They then moved to the Barrhead area were Mom worked as an RNA (LPN). Mom and Dad retired in the Hazel Bluff area and made numerous friends and wonderful neighbours.
Mom leaves to mourn her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren, brother, Vern (Inez), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Eileen Pelletier and Julie (Bob) Hunkin, her best friends, Shirley Cross and Carol Bourgeois and her beloved pets, Marty, Frankie, Poco and Luke.
Donations to any animal welfare groups or just help someone going through a tough time would be appreciated. Special thank you to the Staff at Westlock Healthcare Centre and the Royal Alex Hospital.
No Funeral will be held per Ollene’s request.
