Anne has found peace at age of 93 after a full, long-lived life in the communities of Tudor, Thorhild, Radway and finally in Westlock (at Continuing Care Centre). She is survived by daughter Margaret James, son Ted Prodaniuk, and granddaughter Ryan James, her brother Joseph Kassian, and many nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives, friends and neighbor. Anne was predeceased by her friend and husband Mike in 2012, by her daughter Sylvia in 2006, and, over the years, four of her siblings and her parents Hattie and Nickolai Kassian. Anne was selfless, loving, caring and most of all very hard working. She taught us many skills – cooking (perogies, traditional cabbage rolls), crafts (petit point, sewing, leather craft), gardening, and raising and care of many farm animals. A funeral will be held to honor Anne’s life at 10:30 AM Saturday December 14, 2019 at St. Peter and St. Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Thorhild Alberta. Interment will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Thorhild. Donations gratefully accepted to a charity of ones choice. Westlock Funeral Home and Crematorium 780.349.3474
