CAROLE JEANNE PUDAR (nee COOPER)
August 17, 1933 – February 07, 2024
Jeanne passed away on Wednesday February 07, at the Keir Continuing Care Centre in Barrhead, Alberta at the age of 90.
She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, George in 2017, and by her sister Erna Wallace and her parents Ernest and Henrietta Cooper.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Lori Xavier, currently residing in Barrhead, and Carole Dent [husband Wayne] of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, brother Alan Cooper [wife Sharon] of Grand Forks, British Columbia, granddaughters Robin Dent and Catlin Vickery [husband Adam], also of Dartmouth, as well as grandson Colin McComb [wife Gail] of Ottawa, Ontario, 3 great-granddaughters -August, Georgia and Elizabeth Rose, nephew Patrick Wallace, and nieces Shara Cooper and Lyndsay Cooper.
Jeanne worked with her husband on the farm near Sangudo and raised their children, before they retired to a Barrhead acreage. She tried her best not to get “old”, had a kind heart and loved gardening - especially flowers. At her request, there will be no service, but a family and friends gathering will be held in the spring.
Donations in her name can be made to the Barrhead Community Garden Society or the Canadian Cancer Foundation.
