Arnold Reschke
Arnold Reschke of Barrhead, Alberta, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on September 8, 2023 at the age of 82. Arnold farmed in Bloomsbury for
53 years and was a millwright/welder at many sawmills. He retired in Barrhead in 2019. He was a hard-working and giving man. He will be greatly missed by many family, friends, and co-workers.
He is predeceased by his parents, Herman and Martha Reschke. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, his 4 children David (Geneva), Julie, Eileen, and Susan, 2 brothers, Helmut (Elsie), and Richard (Anna), his 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Amy, Dally, Kanses, and Elijah and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held at the Alliance Church in Barrhead on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The viewing was from 9:00-10:00 am at Rose Garden Chapel and he was laid to rest at the Bloomsbury Cemetery surrounded by his family.
Donations will be given to Samaritan’s Purse in honor of Arnold or to a charity of your choice.
