Lois Pauline Rhyne (Dabels)
September 4, 1938 – October 13, 2022
Lois was born in Fort Assiniboine, AB on September 4, 1938 and passed away on October 13, 2022 in Barrhead, AB at the age of 84 years.
Lois is survived by 4 daughters: Deb (Rod) Timm, Lori (Niels) Strangholt, Janine Rhyne, and Karri (Ken) Degner, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Lyle and Alan.
She was predeceased by her husband Bob, of 58 years; her parents Paul and Francis; sister Myda and brothers Neil and Dann.
Lois enjoyed volunteering with the Fort Assiniboine Curling Club where she served for many years as the Secretary/Treasurer and in later years she also volunteered as the scorekeeper for the Fort Assiniboine Seniors Slow Pitch team. Lois was fond of travelling and was fortunate to be able to do so extensively with Bob. They often included friends in their many adventures.
At Lois’ request there will be no funeral service.
