Lynda Ross, 76, a beloved Mother, grandmother, sister,

and friend, passed away on September 28, 2024,

unexpectedly in her home on the family farm in Busby.

Born on September 19, 1948, at the

Immaculata Westlock Hospital. Lynda’s life was a testament to love,

laughter, and dedication.

Lynda was a woman of many many talents and passions. She was

a school bus driver for 29 years driving the Busby school route. So

many children got to know her and love her over the years.

She was also known for her amazing baking. Since I was 12 years

old, she was involved with the farmers market and was extremely

famous for her Lemon Pie with the mile high meringue. As everyone

knew, her love language was food and it brought all of her family

and friends together. Her green thumb grew into a love of gardening

and stunning flowers, of which have been locally well known. Her

greenhouse bus that Terry made was a huge hit and she loved

spending her time in there growing plants to her heart’s content.

She is survived by her loving husband, Terry, and their two

daughters, Cheryl (Jeremy) Kiziak; and three children, Katherine,

Harmony and Phoenix and Sherrill Ross (Jeff) Xuerub; and their

two children, Avery and Eden; and her sisters, Gaile and Gloria.

Lynda was predeceased by her sister,Wanda, brother, Richard, and

parents, James and Annie Edwards.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynda’s life will be held on

Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Westlock and

District Community Hall.
