Theresa Francoise Ryks (nee Henry)
November 7, 1944 – April 18, 2025
Theresa Francoise Ryks, age 80 of Barrhead, Alberta passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Barrhead Health Care Center.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Ryks (2014) and daughter Brenda Ryks (2019).
She leaves behind her children, Barbara (Rod), Randy (Shelly) & Gail (Colt), 5 grandchildren Jennifer (Chris), Bobbie (Mike), Courtney (Morgan), Kayla (Drew) & Nicole (Dayton), 8 great grandchildren Sorin, Sophie, Jolene, Levi, Emmerson, Charlotte, Grace & William. Her brother Jules (Louise) Henry, extended sisters Valerie (Jim) Keys, Lorraine (Fred) and numerous nieces & nephews.
Theresa was predeceased by her siblings Agnes Henry, Virginia (Arnold) Owen, Mary Rose (Warner) Konopke, Frank (Karen) Henry.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Barrhead Health Care Center who provided compassion & exceptional care for her. Thank you to Dr. Bernes for the care & understanding, “you & your team are second to none”! A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
