Frederick (Fred) Owen Setterington
With great sadness, the family of Frederick (Fred) Owen Setterington, announce his passing at the University of Alberta Hospital, Sunday, September 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Fred, age 77, of Barrhead, Alberta, was born February 20, 1945, in Leamington, Ontario and had made Barrhead his home for the past 30 years. Our family is extremely grateful to the medical staff of the Barrhead Healthcare Centre and the University of Alberta Hospital for their extraordinary care of Fred in his last month.
Fred was predeceased by his parents, Owen and Vivian Setterington, son Daniel Tucci, and daughter Christina Tucci.
Loving husband to Sharan Setterington, and proud father of Debbie Tucci, the late Daniel Tucci, the late Christina Tucci, Frederick (Fred) Setterington Jr. (Danelle), and Tamara (Tammy) Ramirez (Luis). Beloved grandfather of Daniel Lauttamus, Annabelle Ramirez, Victoria Ramirez, Hope Setterington, Marcus Ramirez, and Nathaniel (Nate) Setterington.
Visitation to be held in Barrhead at Rose Garden Chapel on Monday, September 26 at 6pm-8pm. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, September 28 at 12pm at Rose Garden Chapel.
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Gone from this world but kept always in our hearts. We love you, Dad.
