Mildred Thompson (nee Maxwell)
July 24, 1927 - October 22, 2022
It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to our mom, grandma and great-grandma in Medicine Hat on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the age of 95 years. Milly, as she liked to be called, was a very positive person who always looked at the good in life. She cherished her family and got great joy from any new additions. Milly loved playing cards and taught most of her grandkids to play crib at a young age. As the kids became young adults, nothing pleased her more than when they would still stop by for a game of crib.
Milly leaves to mourn her passing: children, Laurie (Arleen) Maxwell, Heather (Kevin) Thompson, Fred (Cheryl) Thompson, Lorraine Thompson and Peggy Thompson; grandkids, Todd (Trish) Maxwell, Tanis Maxwell, Kaylee (Bryan) Friesen, Dakota (Lane) Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Jalyce Thompson, Jarrett Thompson and Manfred Thompson; great-grandkids, Parker and Madison Maxwell, Milly and Hazel Friesen, Zephyr and Elias Thompson, Mia Thompson; sister, Marion (Fritz) Bendrien as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
