Born in Shaunavon Saskatchewan February 4th, 1940. He spent many years overseas working in the oil industry until returning to Barrhead County. He loved reading, gardening and tinkering with antique clocks.
He was predeceased by his father John, his mother May, brothers Len and Doug, sisters Marlene and Darlene.
He is survived by brothers Bud (Ellen), Jack (Gloria) and sisters Valerie, Anne (Ken) and Dallas.
The family wishes to thank all the staff and management of the Keir Care Center for their compassionate care of Don. Interment in 2025.
