TOBER, Elsie
1926-2023
On January 22, 2023, Elsie passed away peacefully at the age of 96 years, with family by her side.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by 2 children Linda (Jim) and Larry; 4 grandchildren Travis (Kyla), Correne, Kalby and Kasi (Wilson); and 2 great-grandchildren Ryken and Daeus. She will be missed as well by other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Olga and Robert; 4 brothers John, Robert, Otto, Alexander; and 1 sister Verna. She was also predeceased by her husband of 74 years Ervin who passed away October 4, 2021.
Elsie was very family oriented; she was caring, generous, loved baking, sewing, needlework, crocheting, gardening, crafts, camping, travelling, and journalling.
Cremation has taken place. Due to covid there was not a celebration of life for Ervin. There will be a celebration of life held in the spring for Ervin and Elsie together, as they were always together. Date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted for U of A Hospital, Mazankowski Heart Institute, Canadian Orthopedic, or a charity of one’s own choice.
