GEORGINA VIOLET TOPOLA-CHARROIS (nee ASHWORTH)
February 3, 1938 - June 19, 2023
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Georgina at the age of 85 years.
The LORD is my strength and my song; and He has become my salvation. Psalm 118:14
Georgina was predeceased by her 1st husband, Neil Topola and is survived by their children, Donna Crawford, Jerry (Elaine), Dianna (Alan) Hunter, Greg (Bev) and Jina (Jim) Greilach. She will be forever remembered by her 15 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren whom she loved so much and who brought her countless hours of joy.
She was also predeceased by her parents Harry and Jessie Ashworth, sister Winnie Shannon and son-in-law, Joe Crawford and also survived by her sister’s Clara Olsson & Ann (George) Walton, sister-in-law Annabelle (Leon) Hartman and numerous nieces and nephews that were all dear to her heart.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Claude Charrois and his children, Doug, Brad (Gillian), Michelle (Steven) Atilio and Colette McDonald as well as 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren and by Claude’s brothers (Rene, Raymond), sisters (Rolande, Diana, Leona, Jean, Claudette) and their families.
A funeral service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Mellowdale on Tuesday, June 27 at 11 am. Pastor Don Schiemann officiating. Lunch and fellowship to follow.
