VAN DYKE, Burness “Bernie” Melvin
With saddened hearts and loving remembrance, the family of Mr. Bernie Van Dyke of Athabasca, AB announces his passing on March 22, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Bernie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gail; five children: Darryl (Anne), Daniel (Lynn), Cindy,(Lawrence), Darren (Martine) and Dallas; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marion and Ella; one sister, Elsie, and one niece, Marie.
A Memorial Service was held on Thursday March 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Athabasca Community Chapel with Pastor Al Plat officiating.
