Debra Ann Ward (Lee)
March 28th, 1953 - February 24th, 2022
It is with much sadness the family of DEBRA WARD announce her passing on February 24th, 2022 @10:04 am at the age of 68 years after a heroic battle with
cancer over the past 11 months.
Thank you to all of the doctors and nurses at the Westview Hospital Long Term Care Facility/Hospice for their wonderful caring and support to family and friends. We must also send a HUGE thank you to all of the medical staff from the Onoway AB. division of AHS Home Care. Debra was born to Mildred and Homer Lee of Barrhead AB on March 28th, 1953.
Debra was predeceased by her mother Mildred and father Homer as well brothers Richard and Gary.
She leaves her mourning husband Garth Ward of 48 yrs. of Lake Isle AB. Two sons Cameron (Amanda) Ward of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Kristen Ward of Blackfalds, Alberta. She leaves behind her four precious grandchildren Julia, Jack, Lucas and Oliver. One brother, Bruce Lee of Edmonton, Alberta and three sisters-in-law, Janice and Yvonne of Edmonton Alberta and Margaret of Calgary Alberta. Debra leaves many nieces and nephews uncles and aunts.
Celebration of life will be held on April 30th, 2022 @ 3:00 pm at the Stony Plain Pavilion. This gathering will be an open celebration for all that wish to attend.
