Nina Woytovicz
May 25, 1940 – August 8, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nina Woytovicz at the age of 84. She is lovingly remembered by her son Don (Carla) of St. Albert; daughters Dianne (John) of Thornton, Colorado; and Darlene of Edmonton; grandchildren Jamie (Julie), Cory (Morgan), Logan, and AJ; great-grandchildren Kai and Levi; sister Dorothy; and sister-in-law Vicky; nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
Nina was predeceased by her beloved husband John, her daughter Debbie, her parents Michael and Nadia, and her sisters Mary, Sofie, Vera, and her brother Nick.
Nina will be remembered for her sense of humour and her loving personality. She enjoyed playing games, especially crib, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at both the Westlock Healthcare Centre and Aspen House in Morinville.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 24 at 11 a.m. at Forfar Community Hall, Township Road 654, Athabasca County No. 12, Alberta. Lunch and interment are to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta or a charity of the donor’s choice.
