Holly Yeryk (McCullouch)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Holly Yeryk (McCullough) on December 15, 2023 at the age of 76.
Holly will be joining her husband Gordon and her brothers and sisters.
Sadly, leaving behind their 3 children, Casey (Michelle) Yeryk, Carla (Patrick) Garland and Tanis (Svend) Neilsen along with 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
Holly was born on December 28, 1946 in Edmonton AB and spent her childhood in Northern Alberta. After marrying Gordon, she had a life filled with adventure that relocated her to Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Holly was an extremely hard worker and worked as a waitress, storekeeper, bookkeeper, business owner, real estate agent and finished her working career at Pollard Banknote Ltd. (Kamloops). Holly was an avid reader and loved to travel and had the opportunity to spend time exploring this beautiful world. She was a lifelong learner and was self-taught in many of her life pursuits and was also an amazing cook.
Holly’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Hillcrest Assisted Living Home in Barrhead AB, for making her final years comfortable and safe. Also a huge thanks to Laura, Kerri and Floyd - our amazing cousins - She was a proud and strong woman who lived her remaining days with dignity and was surrounded with kindness and love, thanks to you and your families.
This summer we will celebrate Holly’s life in a private family ceremony and will lay her to rest alongside our father in Kamloops BC. Peace and love.
