Dear Editor,
We owe Terry and his wife from B.A.R.S. a debt of gratitude for all the service work they do. They take in strays, unwanted animals and abused animals. They are most certainly bitten by the abused dogs! I donated $42 for food and $20 in addition. I plan on doing this every four months (i.e. $50 for food). I challenge every dog owner to submit $50 as well, especially at Christmas and GST time, Co-op dividend time would also be a help pay our way as dog owners. I challenge cat owners to do the same. Thank you.

P.S. I am also giving them a $30 gift certificate for a local restaurant because they’ve sacrificed too many meals for the animals themselves. I challenge all pet owners to do better.
