Judges shoot down democracy?

Dear Editor, Isn’t that something? Here we have an elected government that wants to close down the safe drug injection centre in Vancouver and then we have 9 unelected judges in the Supreme Court telling them that they can’t.

Isn’t that something? Here we have an elected government that wants to close down the safe drug injection centre in Vancouver and then we have 9 unelected judges in the Supreme Court telling them that they can’t. Democracy? Not at all!
