Dear Editor,
The Barrhead Play and Grow Society has successfully wrapped up its six-week program. PREP – Preschool Readiness Education Program – will start this fall. Most of the children who attended the Play and Grow Program are new to PREP and will transition with confidence and ease in September. We would like to give a shout of praise and gratitude to the Barrhead community and service clubs. Thank you also to PHRD for their continued support. Barrhead Play and Grow Parents and staff are amazing for giving up a big part of their summer to provide crucial summer school time for our little people.
We are proud to live in a town that keeps the sense of community in the forefront and that holds onto the value that, “it takes a village to raise a child.”
