NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO ADOPT THE FOLLOWING BYLAW:
71-2025
On July 8, 2025, Westlock County Council passed First Reading of Bylaw No.
71-2025, being a Bylaw to amend the Land Use Bylaw 04-2016 to add new land
use regulations to the Bylaw that enable additional uses that may be undertaken
without a development permit and grant the County’s development officers more
discretion to grant variances and the authority to approve certain discretionary
uses.
Westlock County Council will hold a Public Hearing to provide the public an
opportunity to comment on the proposed Bylaw prior to considering its adoption.

The Bylaw may be viewed at the Westlock County Administration Office during
regular office hours. To make a submission, you may do so to the Westlock
County Administration Office prior to 4:30pm on Wednesday,August 6, 2025.
