NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw Pursuant to Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, the Council of the Town of Athabasca has scheduled a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 2 nd , 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers located at 4705 49th Avenue, Athabasca, AB. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public input on the following proposed Bylaws: • Bylaw 009-2025 – Municipal Development Plan • Bylaw 010-2025 – Land Use Bylaw The purpose of these proposed Bylaws is to replace the existing Municipal Development Plan (Bylaw 14-10) and Land Use Bylaw (Bylaw 13-10). Anyone wishing to provide input may: • Attend the Public Hearing in person. • Contact the Town Office at 780-675-2063 or town@ athabasca.ca no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28th , 2025, to obtain a Zoom link. • Submit a written statement by 12:00 p.m. on September 1 st , 2025, by email to town@athabasca. ca or by mail to 4705 49th Avenue, Athabasca, AB T9S 1B7.
