RV City Debuts new Jayco Showroom

A visit to RV City means access to the expertise and caring team of professionals you need to make the best choice of RV for you and your family.

RV City, the destination for the largest selection of new and used RVs, parts, sales and service, is excited to announce the opening of its new showroom.

Recently, RV City acquired the 10,000 square foot building and land adjacent to the dealership. “That gave us an additional six acres of land, adding to the 17 acres we already have, along with an awesome building. Currently, we are lucky to be able to use all that heated indoor space to showcase our new Jayco RVs. This is especially ideal for customers during the cold and rainy weather,” says David Cox, RV City Sales Manager. “We invite everyone to come in and visit us, and to view our new Jayco RVs inside the comfort of our new showroom!”

Anyone with an interest in purchasing an RV this year should visit the showroom sooner than later. Cox explains why.

“The last couple of years have been very challenging across North America, not only for automobiles but also RVs (motorized, travel trailers and fifth wheels). Supply chain issues of certain materials along with transportation problems have critically hampered the availability of new RVs. Right now is the best time to purchase a new Jayco unit. Most of our customers understand this and are placing deposits on new units that are in queue to be built, for arrival in the spring and summer.”

RV City’s focus on customer service had the team anticipating the shortage and making plans to ensure their customers could get an RV despite the challenges.

“We have been quietly purchasing pre-owned units and currently have an inventory of over 70 RVs in all makes and models,” confirms Cox, before reminding shoppers to make a decision soon. “If you are waiting until summer to purchase a new RV anywhere, you will be confronted with a very limited selection.”

For example, Cox shares, “One of the most important things is to ensure you have the right vehicle to handle the trailer capacity you will be towing. Some dealers will sell you anything you want without addressing this. At RV City our sales team is extremely knowledgeable in this area and will guide you through this process.”

“Do your homework on the construction of the RV,” he continues. “Tires, for example, are very important. Check the integrity of the tires; that is what is between you and the road. Jayco only uses Goodyear tires. They come with a six year warranty.”

Warranty is very important. It’s the manufacturer’s guarantee in the quality of their product and brand promise to address any issues swiftly. For example, Jayco’s warranty is one of the best in the industry, offering three years of coverage on the structure, frames, walls and roof.

Once you have visited RV City, received expert advice and purchased the new or used RV of your dreams, you are ready to hit the road! The team at RV City wants you to have safe travels wherever your journey leads. If you are preparing to head out in your existing RV this spring, RV City offers this advice. De-winterize the unit by:

  • Checking the pressure of your tires. They need adjusting after sitting through the winter months.
  • De-winterize the water system and check for water leaks.
  • Check your fluid systems (showers, sinks, toilets) to ensure proper flow.
  • Charge your battery, install properly and check levels.
  • Don’t neglect safety; check your connections for signals and taillights.
  • Check your propane level.
  • Check the operation of all propane gas fired appliances
  • Check all the electrical including slides, fans, stove, microwave and television.
