Tender Opportunities: MD of Lesser Slave River Seeks Operators and Custodians for Multiple Facilities

The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River is accepting tenders for the provision of Operator and Custodian services at its municipally-owned facilities in Smith, Flatbush, Canyon Creek and Slave Lake. Abridged descriptions of these opportunities are included below.

Proposals will be received until Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2:00pm MST.

It shall be the Bidder’s responsibility to confirm with the Owner that its Proposal has been received prior to Proposal closing. Late Proposals will not be accepted. Proposals will be opened at 2:05 p.m. local time on December 9, 2021 at the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River Administration Office in Slave Lake, Alberta. Public may be present.

Successful applicants/bidders must provide evidence of the following to carry out the advertised contracts:

  • Registration and coverage with the Workers Compensation Board (WCB)
  • General Insurance for not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence, with the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River as an additionally named insured
  • RCMP Vulnerable Sectors Check for all employees/volunteers
  • Emergency First Aid Certificate

Facility Custodian - Municipally Owned Facilities (Smith)

The MD is accepting tenders for the provision of Facility Custodian services for the following municipal facilities:

  • Smith Community Complex
  • Smith Operations Shop Office
  • Smith Community Equine Arena

Facility Operator Services - Canyon Creek Community Arena

The MD is accepting proposals for the provision of Facility Operator services for the Canyon Creek Community Arena – 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 Skating Seasons.
