WESTLOCK/BARRHEAD - An out-of-control wildfire has led Westlock and Barrhead RCMP to issue an immediate evacuation order for people living in the area of Township Road 592 and 594 and Range Road 15 and 24 near the Highridge area - the notification came in just before 2 p.m., April 30.
Police also advise anyone living within two miles north of this location are on a 15-minute “ready to leave” warning.
UPDATE: As per a Facebook post from Westlock County Fire Services at 4:15 p.m., the fire is currently being held.
