BREAKING: Black bear cub spotted in Westlock

Town of Westlock sent out an alert around 8:30 p.m.

A black bear cub was spotted in Westlock on Sunday night, Oct. 29, according to the town. 

The cub was caught on camera climbing up a pole. 

A notification from the Town of Westlock went out around 8:30 p.m. to alert residents there was a bear in town and to them to give the cub space if they see it. 

Fish and Wildlife are asking everyone to be on the lookout for the bear. If the bear is spotted, Fish and Wildlife ask residents to leave it alone.
