WESTLOCK – Westlock RCMP, fire and ambulance crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident just after 10 a.m., Monday, June 26, on Highway 18 (100th Street) and 99th Avenue.

Early reports indicate an SUV left the road and plowed over a stop sign, then struck the front steps of a nearby house, rolled and finally came to rest perched on its front bumper in a stand of trees. On scene, emergency crews worked throughout the rest of the morning to free the driver and passengers — until the RCMP issue an update, their status, as well as the cause of the accident, remains unknown.
