Clyde to hear appeal of proposed 8-plex development

The public hearing will be held before Clyde’s Subdivision and Development Appeal Board at the village on Aug. 15.
The Village of Clyde will remain as an incorporated municipality following council’s May 16 decision.

CLYDE – The Village of Clyde has received an appeal to the development permit they had issued for an eight-plex residential building.

The public hearing will be held before Clyde’s Subdivision and Development Appeal Board at the village on Aug. 15.

“From there, they will make their decision,” said Village of Clyde Development Officer Jaye Parrent, adding that it’s in the hands of the subdivision and appeal board.

At this time, the village isn’t able to reveal who had appealed the development of the eight-plex. Their identity, however, will be revealed at the hearing.

The proposed development consists of four units on the top level and four units on the bottom, said Parrent.
