One man arrested following RCMP raid on Fawcett property

Police say they recovered stolen items from two recent B&Es

WESTLOCK – A Fawcett-area man faces possession of stolen property charges following a recent RCMP raid.

Westlock RCMP Cpl. Brad Schram says that on Friday, July 21, they executed a search warrant at property in the Hamlet of Fawcett, roughly 50 kilometres north of Westlock, and recovered “property stolen from two different break-and-enter files occurring over the last month.”

Subsequently, one man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and is slated to make his first appearance in Westlock Court of Justice Sept. 6.
