WESTLOCK – Westlock RCMP say they know who “urinated” on a resident’s patio furniture and are now looking to arrest him.

Acting Westlock RCMP Detachment commander Riley Sutherland said that at around 11 a.m., April 19, they received a complaint from a resident in town that a man “who had been hanging around” had peed on their patio furniture.

“We have identified who it is, and we’re familiar with them and now we’re just looking to arrest him as just haven’t been able to locate him yet,” said Sutherland April 20.

Assault fabricated

A woman who made a false assault report to police now faces a charge of mischief.

Sutherland said that at around 11 a.m., April 17, they were called to local store where a woman said she had been assaulted.

“Through our investigation it was determined that the assault did not occur and could not have occurred and she was charged with making a false report,” said Sutherland.

The woman, who they’ve declined to name, will make her first appearance in Westlock Court of Justice June 28.
