Smoke billows out from the south end of a trailer in the Southview Trailer Park adjacent to Highway 44 at around 5 p.m. on Oct. 16. The Town of Westlock fire department responded to this fire just before 5 p.m. and fire crews were able to get it quickly under control, though the trailer still suffered some damage. No one was injured as a result. RCMP Staff Sgt. Jeff Sehn confirmed on Oct. 19 that the fire is being investigated as an arson, adding that police do not believe this was a random incident.
