SOUL SISTERS SPECTACULAR

The Westlock and District Community Hall was filled to near capacity Saturday night for the "Nelly's Project” fundraiser — the first fundraiser for the Soul Sisters Foundation, which was formed to bring awareness to mental illness and suicide prevention. County music superstar Carolyn Dawn Johnson was the featured performer at the event, which raised in excess of $100,000 for the Westlock Victim Services Unit and the Pilgrim Hospice Society.
