WESTLOCK — The Town of Westlock is honouring the lives of two men tragically killed while working in the line of duty.

Alberta wildfire firefighter Morgan Kitchen and Rocky View County employee Colin Hough lost their lives in separate incidents in early August.

The town posted a notice on social media last Friday, stating they will “lower the flags at all municipal facilities to half-mast from Aug. 9, until dusk on Aug. 17,” in honour of the men “who tragically lost their lives.”

“Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to their families, friends and all those affected by these events,” the statement read.
