WESTLOCK – Two Edmonton men face charges of breaking and entering after they were caught at a Flatbush-area gas plant late Wednesday night.

Westlock RCMP Detachment acting commander Cpl. Riley Sutherland said that around 10 p.m., Aug. 2, officers were called to the rural site, roughly 75 kilometres north of the Town of Westlock, and found two men inside the onsite shop. In an Aug. 3 interview, Sutherland didn’t have a list of what they were found with, but said the Edmonton men, ages 41 and 47, have been released and will eventually return to Westlock Court of Justice where they’ll face several charges including breaking and entering.

Westlock RCMP encourage the public to report any criminal or suspicious activity as it tells them “where to look, who to look for, and where to patrol in the future” — the non-emergency line for the Westlock RCMP Detachment is 780-349-4492.
